Mechanical Engineer - North of England / South of Scotland - £40,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Company vehicle

An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well established and respected machinery business operating across the North of England and South of Scotland. This role involves the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of agricultural, construction and ground care equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring machinery is operating efficiently and reliably, both in the workshop and on customer sites.

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing mechanical faults across a range of machinery
• Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections to manufacturer standards
• Preparing and installing new equipment for customers
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
• Providing a high level of customer service both on site and in the workshop
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements

• Experience in mechanical engineering, agricultural machinery, plant or similar
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive and customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Relevant engineering qualification advantageous

• Salary £40,000 – £45,000 (salary DOE)
