POSITION SUMMARYThe Front Desk Coordinator oversees volunteer receptionists, manages front‑desk operations when volunteers are unavailable, and provides administrative support to program directors as needed. Hours may vary.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide suitable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
- Coordinate scheduling and training of volunteer receptionists in collaboration with the corporate office.
- Ensure every World Relief guest is greeted warmly and routed to the appropriate staff.
- Provide requested information and resource lists for walk‑ins.
- Receive and forward World Relief mail to the corporate office.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming front desk and clean workspace.
- Monitor, order, and distribute kitchen and cleaning supplies in collaboration with the corporate office.
- Report facility safety concerns to supervisor.
- Report office maintenance needs to the corporate office or CC Admin.
- Assist World Relief staff with administrative tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Participate in admin team meetings as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Mature and personal Christian faith.
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief.
- Desire to serve and empower the church to impact vulnerable communities.
- Ability to affirm World Relief’s core beliefs, statement of faith, Christian identity and the National Association of Evangelicals’ For the Health of The Nation document.
- 2+ years of experience in a coordination or administrative assistant role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to use databases.
- Good coordination skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Hospitable and able to work well with others in a fast‑paced environment.
- Able to navigate cross‑cultural interactions.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
