CALL FOR ARTISTS
Personal Landscapes:
Celebrating Artists with Disabilities
March 2026 | Chase Gallery, Spokane City Hall
Personal Landscapes brings together artworks that reflect the stories, perspectives, and experiences that shape each artist’s creative world. By centering the voices of artists with disabilities, the exhibition highlights the many ways art fosters connection, visibility, and belonging. We invite submissions that explore how creativity expresses identity, community, resilience, and personal meaning.
THEME PROMPTArtists are encouraged to respond to the theme Personal Landscapes in whatever way feels most authentic. Possible directions include:
- Personal stories or memories
- Emotions or inner landscapes
- Identities and relationships
- Places, environments, or community connections
- Ideas, movements, or moments that shape artistic expression
Artists may also explore how their creative work embodies the ways they navigate daily life, connect with others, or make meaning in their communities.
There is no right or wrong interpretation.
