Mathematics Instructor - Adjunct - Spokane Falls Community College
Opening continuous; part‑time adjunct position. Salary: $40.83 - $86.87 per hour

Location: Spokane Falls Main Campus, Spokane.
Department: SFCC Mathematics.
About the role. The Mathematics Instructor will prepare and teach introductory level transfer and non‑transfer courses in Mathematics and Statistics. Classes are primarily in person, may include evening or weekend sessions, and may involve online or hybrid formats.
Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver instruction in both traditional classroom and distance education formats.
- Provide academic support and consulting through scheduled office hours, email, and other responsive communication methods.
- Communicate expectations, establish grading criteria, develop syllabi, handouts, and instructional materials; evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Comply with state and federal law and institutional procedures for grading, bookstore orders, office support, student financial aid, safety, and health issues.
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics Education, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Teaching experience in Mathematics or Statistics.
- Experience with online and hybrid course formats.
Must provide acceptable documentation of U.S. citizenship or lawful authorization to work in the United States. The district does not sponsor H1‑B visas.
