In the role of Power Engineer Senior, we'll count on you to:

• Coordinate the work of design engineers within a multidiscipline team throughout project development
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings
• Assume technical lead within a project execution team
• Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
• Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at the project site with the Project Manager and other disciplines
• Coordinate workload to complete project deliverables on schedule
• Work with Project Manager and Project Controller on project reviews with management as needed
• Direct activities of other engineering professionals and mentor staff as needed
• Perform other duties as needed

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• 10+ years of substation design experience (preferred)
• Experience with substation physical/outdoor design, yard layouts, grounding, lightning protection, control building arrangements, raceways, power systems, and related bills of materials
• Experience with architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firms
• Software experience:
  AutoCAD, Revit, Aspen, ETAP, Easy Power, etc.
• Experience preparing specifications and drawings and other engineering documents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position
• Extensive experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Auto Pipe, Revit)
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture
