**** What You Will Do
*** Leads collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources to develop quality strategy and programs.
* Drives quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
* Provides expertise in production process analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for key quality improvements.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement and activities.
* Develops and implements Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets.
* Develops organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving and directs implementation.
* Train site personnel in quality concepts, changes in process, improvement projects, and other related topics.
* Assist in the development of Quality procedures and processes to improve product quality, increase departmental efficiency, reduce/eliminate inefficient processes.
* Ability to measure, analyze and assess complex processes.
* Complete other duties as assigned.
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
* Experience with Root Cause and Correction Action Management
* Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Experience in manufacturing in aerospace, aviation, or automotive industry
* Experience with Lean management tools
* Auditing experience with AS9100
* Experience in measuring and reporting key quality characteristics and objectives including PPM, COPQ, product testing, etc.
* Experience documenting with MES/SAP or similar tool as well as experience creating Corrective Action Reports.
* CMM experience
