Job DescriptionThe primary function of the Controls Engineer I, II, III and Senior is to provide technical support of facility Operational Technology (OT) systems, equipment, and controls projects at JHS‑Spokane. The position may participate directly or assist others on project teams responsible for the design, acquisition, installation and/or upgrade of critical systems and equipment used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. The Controls Engineer assumes responsibility for participation in capital and expense projects involving controls in facility or production equipment, cost reduction, process improvement and/or compliance.
In addition, the Controls Engineer will provide engineering support to contract manufacturing teams to include process development, process optimisation and deviation investigations.
(In addition to above) The Controls Engineer II and III may participate directly or provide oversight of controls engineers or controls technicians on project teams which are responsible for the design, acquisition, installation and/or upgrade of critical systems and equipment used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. The Controls Engineer assumes responsibility for participation and leadership in capital and expense projects involving controls in facility or production equipment, cost reduction, process improvement and/or compliance.
(In addition to above) The Senior Controls Engineer assumes responsibility and accountability for capital and expense projects involving controls in facility or production equipment, cost reduction, process improvement and/or compliance.
