Overview
Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Roadway practice in Spokane, WA!
Responsibilities
Expand our practice and presence in the local market focused on roadway, highway and/or municipal projectsThis position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, client engagement, and the growth of the roadway design practice in local and/or surrounding marketsManaging the design and delivery of projects profitably while being actively involved in design issuesLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a roadway practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownershipQualifications
12+ years of relevant experience managing roadway projectsRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExperience successfully winning and delivering work in the local and/or surrounding areasKnowledge and experience with the full life cycle of roadway projectsExperience and relationships with local agencies and/or local municipalitiesKnowledge in the civil design of local roadways, urban freeways and/or interchangesDemonstrated ability to manage roadway projects profitably, while leading a team and collaborating with key stakeholdersExperience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected workSalary Range:
$130,000 - $180,000
Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
