Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist(s) to immediately join our team, permanent full time/part time availability.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques to provide exceptional massage therapy services. If you have just graduated massage school, you are still encouraged to apply as long as you have an official testing date. Employment will be negotiated after passing the test and receiving your license.
We need immediate relief to fill a therapist going on maternity leave, but this is a permanent position, not temporary.
Please understand we have a huge demand for appointments. Bringing your own clientele is helpful but not necessary. All supplies provided minus your choice of oils/lotions/specific massage tools.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments for pain management and relaxation
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy in patient interactions
- Collaborate with medical professionals for holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Certification or license as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in patient service and physical examinations
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in med spa or occupational health settings is a plus
- Ability to assess and manage acute pain effectively
