Shift Details: Full-time, Night shift, 36 hours a week

This position will be supporting the Children's Hospital Float group - NICU, PICU and Core.

• The Department-based Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles.
• He/She will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care.
• Completion of the department orientation program as well as unit‑specific orientation, as required, is mandatory.
• This individual assists the Physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy.
• She/He may be qualified by training and experience to operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy.
• Activities may also include other patient care functions for which he or she is qualified.

• Coursework/Training and Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement.
• Upon hire:
  Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
