In-Home Caregivers Overnights

Overview

Senior Helpers is hiring caregivers for OVERNIGHTS. We are looking for a dedicated person to work overnight for our wonderful clients in need of care and support. Pay ranges from $20.00/hr to $22.50/hr with various differentials offered. We offer on-site training and a sign-on bonus for qualified caregivers.

This range is provided by Senior Helpers. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

$20.00/hr - $22.50/hr

• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
• Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies and interests
• Assist with walking, dressing, bathing, and other daily living activities
• Assist with needs as clients prepare for bed
• Assist with needs throughout the evening as they arise
• Assist with morning routines as needed
• Document and report activities completed with clients and provide updates on status

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Caregiver credential (Home Care Aide (HCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) 1163 exempt), OR
• Willingness to complete a 10-day training and testing program to become certified
• Dementia experience highly preferred
• Kind, compassionate, and caring demeanor
• Reliability, responsibility, and punctuality
• Good communication with staff and clients
• Pass a background and fingerprint check
• Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)

• Caregivers provide companionship, medication reminders, personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming), and other care needs in the evening
• Support with daily living activities and ensuring client safety overnight
