Responsibilities- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles.
- Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care.
- Complete department orientation program and unit-specific orientation as required.
- Assist the Physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy; qualify to operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy.
- Activities may also include other patient care functions for which he or she is qualified.
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement.
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
