Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location: Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center, 711 S Cowley St, Spokane, WA

Schedule: Part Time, Day Shift, 20 hours per week

Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the OT clinician plans and administers treatments for patients with injuries, illnesses or disabilities through therapeutic use of everyday activities. The OT helps patients develop, recover, and improve necessary skills for daily living and working. You will collaborate with other clinicians, rehab nurses, physicians, and the team to create the best outcomes for patients.

• Plan and administer OT treatments for inpatient rehabilitation patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (clinicians, nurses, physicians) for optimal patient outcomes.
• Apply therapeutic use of everyday activities to improve daily living and working skills.
• Maintain professionalism, being courteous and respectful in interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors.
• Represent the hospital positively at all times.

• Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Washington Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

• Experience in occupational therapy.
