Respiratory Care Practitioner – Respiratory Therapy
Location: Spokane, WA – Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital, On-site
Pay Range: $34.77 – $56.01 per hour (subject to experience). Additional compensation may include shift differentials, overtime, standby/on‑call, and bonus opportunities.
Hiring Bonus: $10,000 for eligible rehires and external candidates who meet qualifications. Relocation assistance may be provided.
ResponsibilitiesThe Department‑based Respiratory Therapist will collaborate with physicians and nurses to plan and implement patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining complex ventilatory support systems.
- Monitoring and resuscitation devices, performing respiratory care procedures, patient assessments and diagnostic procedures.
- Delivering oxygen therapy and other respiratory treatments.
- Assisting physicians with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy.
- Participating in unit‑specific orientation and department orientation programs.
- Performing other patient care functions as qualified.
- Education that meets certification, license, or registration requirement.
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
