Associate – Environmental, Health & Safety

Jubilant Pharma Limited, Spokane, WA – On‑site, full‑time position.

The Environmental Health & Safety Specialist will develop and maintain a comprehensive EHS program, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, provide training, and support compliance with federal, state, and local standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.).

• Manage Gensuite platform, provide IT support, and update SDS.
• Execute minor injury investigations and assist the senior specialist with major investigations.
• Facilitate event & iCare corrective actions, tracking them to closure.
• Handle new employee set‑up and removal of employees who have left the company.
• Develop and revise safety training materials.
• Conduct safety inspections and walk‑abouts (ERE extinguishers, first aid kit inventory, waste management).

Manage waste containers: move drums/containers for shipment, solvent shed container management, and DOT training.
• Maintain environmental compliance: weekly wastewater pH probe calibration, semi‑annual SW inspections, monthly generator hours (air permit).
• Provide security support.

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or related scientific field.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist and Associate Safety Professional desired.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Pharmaceutical experience desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Exposure to allergens required.
• Working in aseptic areas required.
• Ability to push, pull, twist, prolonged sitting and standing required.

Weekday days, Monday‑Friday.

Hiring Wage: $30.99–$41.93 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth and promotion.
