Location: Spokane Valley
Job Summary:
The Training specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering safety training and programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role plays a critical part in promoting a culture of safety within the organization by equipping employees with knowledge and skills necessary to perform their jobs safely. This role will also handle the third-party websites for safety compliance for many of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Training Development: Design and develop safety training materials and programs tailored to the needs of various departments and roles. Job specific and general trainings.
- Continuously develop our training matrix based on job title
- Conduct Trainings: Facilitate engaging and informative trainings, workshops on safety policies, procedures, OSHA/ANSI standards and best practices.

- Tower Climb and Rescue

- CPR/First Aid/AED

- Radio Frequency Safety and Awareness

- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that training programs comply with relevant safety regulations and standards, keeping up with current standards.
- Site and Location Visits: Visit job sites and our locations to do spot safety inspections, using a checklist and knowledge of safety to ensure company policies/procedures are followed as well as local, state, federal and customer safety as required.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training, participants attendance, and compliance with safety training requirements. Keep access to current employee certifications and training and when those will expire.
- Collaboration: Work with management, HR, and our Safety Ambassadors to identify training needs and develop strategies for improving workplace safety.
- Promote Safety Culture: Advocate for a proactive safety culture by encouraging employees participation and feedback regarding safety practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on industry trends, safety regulations, and training methodologies to enhance training programs continuously.
- Incident and accident investigations: Assist in investigating safety incidents and accidents, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for improved training and safety practices.
- Claim handling: Be trained and knowledgeable in insurance claim processes and procedures. To be a backup as necessary.
- Experience: Must possess a minimum of two years of tower-climbing experience. Required certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment (certification cannot be issued without prior experience).
