Travel Ultrasound Technologist​/Sonographer - Sonography​/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer with ARDMS OB/GYN and NT certification and 2+ years of OB/GYN experience for a high-risk pregnancy clinic.

• Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience in an outpatient setting
• BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, and NT certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging, fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, nuchal translucency screening, amniotic fluid index, and umbilical cord doppler studies
• Experience with high-risk OB, obstetrics, transvaginal, and pelvic imaging
• Comfortable assisting with amniocentesis and related procedures

• Outpatient high-risk pregnancy clinic across 6 ultrasound rooms at one facility and 2 rooms at a sister hospital
• Perform 7-9 detailed ultrasounds daily and report findings to 3 MFM physicians
• 1:1 patient ratio with a high-risk maternal and fetal patient population
• Assist with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS procedures
• Fetal echo imaging required
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment, PACS, and Epic EMR
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No nights, weekends, or on-call requirements
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Must be available for 3 proposed interview times including time zone at submission
• Scrubs must be any color with no prints
• First-time travelers accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travelers and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at the health system, including location and dates
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront, as post-submission requests may not be granted
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
