Position: IT Support Engineer - (MSP)

Summary

Our client is a leading IT Solutions Company (MSP - Managed Services Provider) located in Spokane, WA. They are seeking an IT Support Engineer / Level III Technician proficient in networking. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with technology and excellent personal communication skills. You should enjoy building solutions that leverage technology to meet client business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Work with sales to provide pre- and post-sales support, including discovery meetings, site visits, proposals, presentations, technical assessments, implementation, and ongoing technical account management.

Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory.

Design Local Area Networks.

Implement and monitor network security.

Optimize and maintain network hardware and software.

Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions.

Configure and deploy VOIP solutions.

Perform network infrastructure troubleshooting.

Manage Microsoft Exchange Server.

Handle telephone solutions.

Monitor alert systems and take appropriate actions as per guidelines.

Use event logs to identify and resolve issues.

Handle escalated service requests requiring advanced responses.

Assist with new user onboarding.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing environment such as sales engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable working with clients to understand their business and technology issues.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Experience writing proposals and implementing technical solutions to meet business needs.
Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player.
Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management).
High-level problem-solving skills, exceptional customer service, multi-tasking, and organizational abilities.
Sales training experience is a plus.
Must have MSP environment experience; this is a major plus.

Ideal Qualifications (not required)

CompTIA Net+ and/or Security+
MCSA, MCSE, MCITP certifications.
CCNA or CCIE Cisco certifications are a plus.
