Job Overview

Systems Administrator at Jubilant Hollister Stier LLC is responsible for maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role involves configuring and managing servers, networks, backups, storage, databases, applications, and automation systems while collaborating with engineers, analysts, and other IT staff to support business operations.

Base pay range: $81,500.00/yr – $/yr.

• Maintain and optimize physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network components to ensure reliable and secure operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and system services across environments.
• Develop and manage backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Implement and enforce security policies, including user authentication, role-based access, and patch management.
• Continuously monitor system health, respond to alerts, and resolve performance issues or outages efficiently.
• Create and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks such as deployments, backups, and system updates, improving operational efficiency.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, health, storage utilization, and uptime metrics to support capacity planning and operational transparency.
• Prepare and maintain audit and compliance documentation for security reviews and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity (required).
• Associate’s degree in an IT-related field with over 5 years of experience managing systems (required).
• CompTIA Network+ (desired).
• CompTIA Server+ (desired).
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP‑DVC) (desired).
• 3 to 5 years of hands‑on System and Server Administration (required).
• 2 to 3 years experience supporting Microsoft-based infrastructure and key domain services (required).
• Experience implementing encryption, access controls, and vulnerability management (desired).
• Familiarity with GMP/GxP and compliance standards for electronic records, data integrity, and system validation (desired).
• Proficiency in System Administration, Performance Optimization, Backup and Recovery, Security Management, and Automation scripting (required).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally; prolonged periods of sitting or standing required.

Weekday Days, Monday‑Friday.

• Hiring wage: $81,500.00 – $ annually depending on experience.
