We’re Hiring:
Military Field Consultant – Journeyman

Location: Washington State Region | Travel Required: Up to 80%

Industry: Military & Family Support Services

Experience Level: Mid-Level (5+ years military or related background)

Are you passionate about supporting military families and strengthening the community around them? We’re looking for a Military Field Consultant – Journeyman to serve as a connector, advocate, and trusted resource across your state and region.

This isn’t your typical desk job. You’ll be out in the field—attending events, building relationships, and collaborating with local and military organizations to ensure that Service members and their families get the support they deserve. You’ll be the critical link between resources and real-life needs on the ground.

In this role, you’ll:

• Represent military family programs at events, meetings, and outreach efforts
• Deliver personalized support and referrals for services ranging from relocation, counseling, financial education, and more
• Identify service gaps and collaborate on smart, community-driven solutions
• Lead and participate in training sessions, briefings, and coalition-building activities
• Keep stakeholders informed and engaged by maintaining a digital hub of resources
• Be a visible, proactive presence across your assigned area

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of military experience or strong understanding of military life
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage projects, multitask, and travel extensively
• Prior experience in military service programs, recruiting, education, or community outreach is a plus
