Warehouse Associate – Gibraltar Industries

On‑site role in industrial manufacturing environment. Warehouse Associate responsible for safe and efficient operation of equipment to produce high‑quality metal components and finished goods.

• Completes daily safety precheck of assigned equipment prior to use.
• Receives and stores raw material and finished goods.
• Enter all information accurately into the SAP RF scanner to maintain inventory integrity.
• Utilize SAP RF scanners to accurately scan and pick each item on an order.
• Pick each order line by line as displayed in the system.
• Organize and stack items efficiently for ease of shipping and packaging.
• Meets or exceeds productivity targets per day while maintaining safety and quality.
• Properly picks orders in accordance to picking procedures and ensures compliance.
• Load and unload containers / trucks.
• Help with cycle counts.
• Support other warehouse/production operations when order volume is low.
• Load and assure metal onto uncoiler; feeds material correctly into machine; performs related changeover of material as production requirements dictate.
• Follow safety requirements, wearing required PPE; adhere to environmental and hazardous waste disposal procedures.
• Ability to operate forklift in a small warehouse environment.
• Participate in process improvements, housekeeping, and 5S within assigned area or facility.
• Work on projects and/or other assigned duties as needed.
• May be required to work extra hours when needed.

• Supports Production as necessary.
• Supports Site leader as backup as necessary.
• Supports Delivery Driver as backup as necessary.

• Less than high school education OR one month to three months related experience or training OR equivalent combination.
• May be asked to have a Forklift License to facilitate loading.

Regular standing, walking, and using hands to handle, grab, lift, pull, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch. Must lift and/or move up to 35 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Industrial manufacturing environment; exposure to varying temperatures, loud noise, dust, fumes, oil, or other outdoor elements. Full‑time position may require overtime including nights and weekend work.
