POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
REPORTS TO: First-Line Leader
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
SUPERVISES: None

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production team members are responsible for the production of aluminum alloy products through the operation of various machinery and manual tasks. Necessity of continuous operation demands cooperation, teamwork, close attention to detail, and prompt speed of reaction to events.
The plant is divided into three working areas:
Saw Line, Centerbay, and Shipping. Production team members preference into, and typically work daily in these areas. Depending on workload and experience, production team members can move from area to area as required by metal requirements.
The Production Team Member's essential functions include:

- Comply with all safety, quality and environmental regulations.
Tools and Equipment used in Job: Industrial saws, hand tools, computers, cranes.
Mobile Equipment used to Perform Job: Fork truck
PPE Required for Job: Safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, protective arm guards, and gloves.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Approximately 100% of the job function is required in the plant/machine shop. There is exposure to loud noises, operating machinery and a manufacturing environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- There will be periods of walking and standing.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance.
- The employee is regularly required to reach with arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear.
