• Daily coordination of SLM Filling & Filtration technicians – schedules and assigns workload to assure maximum efficiency.
• Provides leadership in the department as both a team leader and spokesperson for outside department concerns.
• Responsible for training new technicians including cGMP compliance, safety, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provides manufacturing expertise – possesses detailed knowledge of equipment and processes in multiple production areas.
• Participates in special projects, coordinates technician assignments in multiple areas of the department.
• Oversees area production documents and performs record reviews.
• Assesses production activities and provides recommendations for process improvement, corrective actions, and training needs.
• Optimizes and defines processes to maximize yield and reduce waste.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements solutions to process problems in manufacturing.
• Maintains aseptic qualification and works inside a clean room environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, or other scientific field desired.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience required. 5 years of related experience desired.
• Pharmaceutical experience required.
• Manufacturing production and equipment operation experience required.
• Lead experience desired.
• Limited/elementary vocational knowledge required; advanced/specialist knowledge desired.
• Microsoft Word required;
  Excel desired.
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity required.
• Knowledge of QA and Manufacturing systems. Must keep abreast of technological advances in automation, computerization, manufacturing techniques and government regulations.
• 20/30 Corrected Near-Point required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted required.
• Exposure to allergens required.
• Working in aseptic areas required.
• Repetitive activity and prolonged sitting and standing required.

Shift: Weekday Days, Monday‑Friday.

• Hiring Wage: $30.99 – $41.93/hr, depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion, and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant Hollister Stier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over time in the role.
• Shift premium of $2.00 per hour worked between 3pm and 11pm, and $2.50 per hour worked between 11pm and 7:30am.
• Aseptic premium of $2.00 per hour worked in qualifying aseptic areas.
