Forklift Operator – Shipping & Receiving
Location:
Spokane, WA
Pay Range: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour (Swing shift includes an additional $3.00/hour differential)

Swing Shift: Monday to Thursday 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (+$3.00/hr shift differential)

We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join a Shipping and Receiving team in Spokane, WA. This position is responsible for safely handling, loading, and unloading steel materials and products throughout the fabrication facility and shipping yard. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, experience operating large forklifts, and a focus on safety and accuracy.

• Operate large forklifts to move, load, and unload heavy materials
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Load and unload flatbed 18-wheelers with precision and care
• Assist with moving materials to and from saws, machines, and work areas within the plant
• Maintain organized staging areas and yard layout to support efficient workflow
• Follow shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures accurately
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely movement of materials
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

• 2+ years of forklift operating experience
  , preferably in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Experience with large-capacity forklifts (15,000 lbs. or greater) strongly preferred
• Ability to read and follow load sheets, work orders, and yard maps
• Knowledge of load securement and rigging safety a plus
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
