Job DescriptionTo support Raw Material operations by executing assigned tasks including cleaning, handling and preparation of materials, and operation of processing equipment to ensure timely, compliant, and safe production support for venom and allergen-based pharmaceutical products.
- Conduct Venom Dissection and Bee Weigh Out procedures with strict adherence to safety and accuracy requirements.
- Operate and maintain scales, balances, and manometers as needed.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures while performing all job functions.
- Perform dish and equipment cleaning.
- Follow all gowning and hygiene requirements.
- Proper use and sanitation of hoses and ports (including heat exchangers).
- Clean and maintain the Raw Materials area in accordance with cGMP and site cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with cGMP standards.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the assembly and use of clarification equipment.
- Maintain and accurately complete entries in the LUMAC log to track equipment usage and activities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree or college-level science coursework desired.
- 1 year of relevant experience in a GMP-regulated, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment required.
- Experience with venom or allergen processing, aseptic technique, and raw material handling desired.
- 14/14 Corrected Near-Point required.
- Pass Color Deficiency Test required.
- Respirator Clearance Required.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted required.
- Repetitive Activity required.
- Pushing, Pulling, Prolong Sitting and Standing, and Walking required.
- Exposure to Allergens required.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required.
Shift: Weekday days, Monday-Friday
Compensation & Benefits- Hiring Wage: $25/hr.
- This position is eligible for a shift premium of $2.00 per hour worked between 3pm and 11pm, and $2.50 per hour worked between 11pm and 7:30am.
- This position is eligible for an aseptic premium of $2.00 per hour worked in qualifying aseptic areas.
