Comact is a North American leader in the design and manufacturing of equipment for wood processing mills. Producing everything from mechanical equipment, PLCs and optimization systems equipped with digital vision scanners. Our products also deliver fully automated production lines.
The company has over 1500 employees working in our divisions located across North America.
- Work in a safe manner at a high production rate
- Able to level and square parts while tacking into place
- Rigging and hoisting with overhead crane
- Fix and rewire welding machines (wire rolls weigh 40lbs)
- Lift and hold 50lbs and be able to set it down gently
- Stand for 12 hours
- Climb up and down equipment to fit parts or to weld parts sometimes one handed
- MIG weld:
Spray arc 90%, Short arc 10% - Be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong capacity for teamwork
- Demonstrate autonomy, precision, thoroughness, resourcefulness and reliability
