As a CNC Machining Technician, you will play a vital role in our production process by programming, setting up, and operating CNC routing equipment to fabricate high-quality parts. Your technical expertise will ensure that our manufacturing operations run efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

As a CNC Machining Technician, you will play a vital role in our production process by programming, setting up, and operating CNC routing equipment to fabricate high-quality parts. Your technical expertise will ensure that our manufacturing operations run efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Program and operate CNC routers to produce precision parts according to technical blueprints and specifications.
  • Perform machine setups, including tool offsets, reference points, and program verification to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, and tape measures to verify part conformance to quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Document production data and quality logs accurately to ensure continuity and clear communication across shifts.
  • Operate auxiliary equipment, including band saws and grinders, and utilize forklifts to manage materials safely.
  • Monitor machine cycles and detect malfunctions, escalating issues to leadership when deviations occur.
Qualifications Required Skills
  • Proven experience operating CNC routing machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Solid mathematical skills for calculating requirements and verifying part accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills
  • Current or previous forklift certification.
  • Experience with computerized data entry and production management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
