Atlas Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator for a well-established manufacturing company in Spokane Valley! This is an entry-level role with training provided on the job. Enjoy a Monday through Thursday schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, giving you consistent three-day weekends !
Summary:Use machines such as roll formers, polishing lathes, pneumatic presses, and vices to shape, shear and manipulate metal into desired the desired output based on the company's quality standards.
Responsibilities:- Following work instructions, operate assigned machines to process material until desired outcome is achieved
- Inspect material within specified tolerances
- Use hand tools and calipers to measure product
- Track and log job operations
- Maintain and ensure controlled material custody and tracking
- Other duties as assigned
- Manufacturing experience is REQUIRED
- Previous machine operating experience is preferred
- Comfortability with tools and measuring devices
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass required preemployment drug and background screenings
- Must meet applicable United States Export Control Regulations requirements
$18.00-$19.00/hr.
