Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Marketing & Communications Director is responsible for telling the KSPS PBS story across broadcast, digital, and community platforms. This role leads both the strategic vision and day-to-day execution of campaigns that grow audience, deepen engagement, and support fundraising efforts.

The Director develops and manages cross-platform storytelling initiatives that highlight KSPS PBS’s mission to connect, enrich, and inspire all the communities we serve. This position ensures our story is told in a way that builds audiences for our programming while also attracting the donor support necessary to sustain it, maintaining the balance between mission impact and financial stability.

We are setting an ambitious benchmark: that anyone across our region can answer, without hesitation, “KSPS PBS is my local public television station.” Achieving that will take a leader who is strategic, resourceful, and grounded, someone as comfortable building strategy as they are rolling up their sleeves to make it happen.

The ideal candidate brings both professional excellence and humility, leading with the same values that guide our organization… integrity, inclusion, professionalism, and innovation. Above all, they share our enduring passion for educating, enriching, and connecting the communities we serve.
