Position: Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp/PACU

Columbia Surgery Center has an immediate need for a full time Registered Nurse (RN) Pre Op/PACU! Columbia Surgery Center is a fast-pace, multi-specialty, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Monday-Friday work schedule! NO call required! NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours! Free Parking.

Pay Range: $35-$55/hr, based on experience

Required Skills
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN license in the state of Washington.
  • Current CPR, Preferred ACLS, and PALS.
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient.
  • Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation.
  • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
  • Excellent teaching skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology.
