The Student Nursing Assistant (CNA Training Program) is a student enrolled in Providence Nursing Assistant Training program. Functions under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager or a designated staff member and within the scope of practice determined appropriate based on student skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care tasks delegated by RN, Nurse Manager, or delegate.
• Observing patients continuously to maintain safety, comfort, and a safe care environment.
• Documenting all patient observation and care activities.
• Performing non‑direct patient care duties as assigned.

• Must have completed at least two months of successful employment and be in good standing to be accepted into the NAC Training Program.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.
