• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930 – $2070

  Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center
• Patient Population:
  Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Charting System:
  Epic
• Parking:
  Free on-site parking

• Active Washington or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiac Stepdown RN or Neuro Stepdown RN
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR)
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required)
• Neuro nursing experience required
• Ability to float between nursing units as needed
• Willingness to work every other weekend
• References:
  At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable clinical setting

• Deliver direct patient care in Cardiac Stepdown and Neuro Stepdown units
• Monitor and manage patients with chest tubes, craniotomies, CVA, external CPAP/BIPAP, and spinal cord injuries
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
• Care for pre- and post-neurosurgery patients, including those with traumatic brain injuries
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation using Epic EMR
• Float to other hospital units as required to support patient care needs
• Complete orientation and all required modules prior to assignment start
