Compensation$17.13–$19/hr DOE

Essential Job Functions- Perform, assist, evaluate and document medical care, including basic first aid, taking weight and vital signs, catheter and bowel care with I/O monitoring, range‑of‑motion exercises, ambulation, transfer and positioning with wheelchairs and other medical equipment, and preparing meals according to dietary needs.
- Care for patients’ special conditions and needs within the scope of authorized tasks.
- Provide hands‑on personal care and simple procedures as part of therapy or nursing services.
- Perform services ordered by the physician in the plan of care that the aide is permitted to do under state law.
- Assist patients in maintaining good personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, grooming, shaving, skin and nail care, oral hygiene, dressing and eating.
- Maintain and complete all required documentation, such as patient/family records and company records after each visit.
- Observe and report significant changes in a patient’s condition to the RN Nursing Supervisor.
- High school graduate or GED*
- Current, unrestricted certification or proof of training as required by the state.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with aide care policies and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
The Aide must receive at least 12 hours of in‑service training during each 12‑month period.

- Respond physically and mentally to emergency situations.
- Work in a variety of settings, potentially exposed to allergens and other conditions.
- Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids and infectious diseases.
