American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night-shift position requiring neuro and telemetry experience along with current NIHSS certification.

• Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) in the Telemetry unit
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Neurology and cardiac patient population including CVA, craniotomy, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury cases
• Requires skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tube management, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating between units and sister facilities required
• Weekend requirement of every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• At least 6 months of neuro experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Must not have facility background check or Nursys hits

• Works in a Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, teaching hospital setting
• Scrub color is any for RNs
• No parking fee at facility
• Thanksgiving and New Year's are typically covered but additional support is needed for Christmas coverage
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius
