The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position is based in a Level 3 Trauma Center providing acute patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves managing a diverse patient population with a focus on trauma, mental health, and general medical conditions, requiring high-level clinical skills and teamwork.

• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI (acceptable to start without prior CPI certification), TNCC. PALS or ENPC and TNCC or ATCN may be preferred.
• Education & Experience:
  
  3-5 years of experience in a Level 3 or higher facility required; 1 year minimum experience acceptable for certain candidates.
• Location Requirements:
  Candidates must be willing to work at a facility located in Spokane, WA.
• Schedule:
  
  Evening shift from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Skills include rapid sequence intubation (RSI), conscious sedation, line placements, drains, tubes, and general emergency department (ER) clinical skills.
• Technology:
  Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system, with experience in using IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing system, and bedside/centralized telemetry monitoring.
• Support Staff & Resources:
  Access to CNA/ER Techs, a resource nurse, hospitalists, and 24/7 Physician/mid-level provider coverage.
• Orientation & Support:
  Comprehensive facility and unit orientation, with specific programs for nurse graduates and preceptors.
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required.

Cross Country Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
