Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Neurology

Spokane, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide direct patient care on a neurology-focused telemetry unit within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center setting
• Perform and document neurological assessments using the NIH Stroke Scale
• Manage a patient assignment with an expected ratio of 1:5
• Float between units within the facility as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday coverage; expected to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Minimum of 6 months of neurology experience required
• Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale and care of neurology patient populations
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (local candidates may be considered under separate terms)
• Must commit to all RTO and scheduling requests being submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Familiarity with Epic charting platform
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital or trauma center environment

• Opportunity to work in a large, well-established teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center with a dynamic neurology patient population
• No on-call requirements and no parking fees, supporting a straightforward and predictable work experience
