Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Neurology

Spokane, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | 16-Week or 26-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry/neurology unit within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center setting
• Perform and interpret NIH Stroke Scale assessments accurately and consistently
• Care for post-surgical neurology patients and patients with varied neurological diagnoses
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Float between units as needed to support staffing across the facility
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

• Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, with neurology experience required
• Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale and care of post-surgical neurology patients
• Availability to work every other weekend as required
• Must be available to work at least 3 of the following 5 holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience floating between units in a large acute care setting

• No-fee parking and no on-call requirement, supporting a more predictable and manageable work schedule
• Opportunity to work within a large, well-established acute care system with a 629-bed teaching hospital
