American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring cardiac drip titration and management experience, open to first-time travelers.
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- 2 years of recent experience required
- Cardiac drip titration and management experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Responsibilities
- Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center teaching hospital setting
- PCU/Stepdown unit with patient ratios of 1:4-5
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:00)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- 48-hour work weeks approved
- May float to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical floors, with travelers prioritized for floating when overstaffed
- Uses Epic EMR
- Candidates may choose to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday, not both
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrub color for RNs is open (any color)
