Registered Nurse – OB/GYN (Gynecologic Oncology Clinic)

Spokane, WA | Outpatient Clinic

Contract (Travel or Temp-to-Perm) | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | 5x8-Hour Shifts | No Weekends | No Call Required

• Perform triage for medication reactions, post-surgical concerns, and symptoms of potential disease recurrence via phone and EPIC messaging
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient education and assessment
• Monitor and support patients throughout their treatment course to ensure safe progression of care
• Conduct nurse visits within a high-needs outpatient gynecologic oncology clinic environment (typically 3–6 nurse visits per day)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including GYN Oncologists, a benign GYN surgeon, and Advanced Practice Providers

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 year in a relevant specialty
• Background in one or more of the following specialties: SICU, OR, PACU, Post-Op, Gynecologic Oncology, Triage, OB/GYN, or Oncology — note: solely L&D/Obstetric experience does not meet the needs of this role
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of candidate submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted

• Combined experience in Gynecology, Oncology, and surgical settings is strongly preferred
• Experience with voiding trials
• Experience with central line/port flushes
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records

• Work within a specialized, close-knit clinic team supporting a high-needs patient population in a meaningful gynecologic oncology setting
• Expected 40 hours per week with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no weekend or on-call obligations
