American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring OASIS and HCHB proficiency, serving a geriatric patient population.

• Home Health setting serving an adult geriatric patient population
• Monday through Friday schedule with one weekend shift required every 4 weeks
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day with a minimum of 30 points weekly
• On-call rotation may be required
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office, with flexibility expected
• EMR: HCHB experience required

• Active WA RN license or compact license required, in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year recent relevant Home Health experience required
• OASIS experience required for staff completing Start of Care assessments
• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) charting system required
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required
• First-time travelers will not be considered

• Responsibilities include admission assessments, recertifications, resumption of care, routine visits, and start of care documentation
• Clinical skills include wound/integumentary care, medication administration and management, pain assessment, IV and subcutaneous medication administration, and infection control precautions
• All charting must be completed by 9:00 AM the following morning
• Timely communication and documentation are mandatory
• Scrub dress code required, any color, no jeans permitted
• Cell phone use not permitted; iPad provided for work purposes
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have their own transportation
• Former permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before being eligible to return as a traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Monday orientation required, including completion of billable training modules
