We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our team on site in Spokane, WA.

• Perform preventative maintenance and qualification activities on laboratory instrumentation as directed.
• Implement appropriate computer operating system permissions to laboratory equipment workstations to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Diagnose laboratory equipment issues and perform the necessary maintenance to return equipment to compliant functionality. Assist in other troubleshooting as directed by the Supervisor.
• Prepare acceptance reports for laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to plant safety programs and applicable GMP or other regulations.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment to assure accuracy and confidence in performance.
• Perform computer systems backup as required and ensure data integrity is maintained.
• Create new procedures as needed.
• Participate in internal and/or external client interactions as appropriate.
• Perform special assignments as directed by Supervisor and coordinate/lead group projects related to laboratory compliance and equipment.

• Associate Degree in Science with minimum 2 years of experience required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, or related hard science) desired.
• 2 to 4 years of related experience required; pharmaceutical and FDA-regulated industry experience desired.
• Laboratory experience (3 years) desired; proficiency in troubleshooting instruments and mechanical aptitude desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and general software/database configuration desired; coursework in computer-related systems desired.
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience required; mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity required.
• Knowledge of analytical instrumentation, ability to interpret literature, and clear written/oral reporting skills. Understanding of GMP, chemistry, statistics, and data processing desirable; initiative and willingness to learn required.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted; exposure to allergens; repetitive activity, prolonged sitting and standing required.

• Salary range: $30.99 - $41.93 per hour, DOE, with opportunities for growth and annual raises
