Position SummaryCook responsible for menu preparation, food safety, and guest satisfaction under Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty.
Essential Duties- Maintain clean uniform and personal hygiene.
- Use, maintain, and clean kitchen line equipment and prep areas.
- Stock and rotate cooking line products.
- Prepare menu items to guest request, following company standards.
- Monitor food temperatures to reduce risk of foodborne illness.
- Identify and correct system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Communicate with Manager on Duty and coworkers regarding deficiencies and equipment issues.
- Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service.
- Clear communication.
- High mobility/flexibility; lift and carry up to 50 lbs over 30 ft; fit through 30” opening.
- Work irregular hours, heavy stress/pressure during peak times.
- Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, pulling; exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, odors.
- Continual standing and walking.
Hourly salary range: $… per hour.
