Outside Sales Associate – Master Halco

Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Professional.

In this role, the Outside Sales Professional will be responsible for driving the sales performance of the company’s fencing, perimeter security, and outdoor living products. You will make face-to-face sales calls with existing and potential customers, build long-lasting business relationships, and identify new opportunities for growth. The majority of time will be spent in the field meeting with customers, with one or two days a week in the branch office making outbound calls, creating quotes and orders, assisting customers, and completing day-to-day administrative tasks.

• Lead sales activities to maximize sales growth, margin targets, market share, and overall company objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through face-to-face sales calls and relationship-building activities.
• Cultivate customers in new areas of business and respond to what motivates each customer to purchase.
• Implement and execute sales growth strategies aligned with the company’s plans.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to develop and execute sales growth strategies.

• Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience; building materials industry or home center/hardware store experience preferred.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to use software to create presentations, documents, and spreadsheets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent sales and negotiation skills; excellent time management and organizational skills.
