Inside Sales Associate

Overview

Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate. The Inside Sales Associate works on the phone and at the branch counter to service contractors, distributors, and retailers purchasing fence products.

• Discovery conversations with existing customers and prospect customers to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business.
• Calling current customers by phone to generate orders for delivery on scheduled routes and to inform customers of specials and sales promotions.
• Work as a team with other sales and operations people to hit sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs.
• Excellence with phone sales, computer entry, and customer-facing engagement.
• Partner with the outside sales team to expand products and customer base.
• Collect market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, pricing, market situations, and inform the Branch Manager.
• Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner.
• Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
• Prepare job order quotations based upon customer requests and information.
• Communicate by phone or email with customers from order to shipment.

• High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of customer service/sales experience.
• Excellent phone and customer-facing experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Computer literate and proficient in MS applications (Excel required).

• Competitive hourly rate of $25.00.
• Quarterly Bonus Program and spiffs.
• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Typical operating hours are 8am-5pm.
