Full-time Temp to Hire
Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (4×10 work week)
Pay: $23.00 – $28.00/hr
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on Facilities & Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our building and production equipment running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to problem solver, ensuring our facility stays safe, efficient, and fully operational.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and lighting systems.
- Handle day‑to‑day facility fixes, including unclogging toilets, replacing light bulbs, repairing doors, and patching walls.
- Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment using hand and power tools.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and ready‑to‑use shop floor environment.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience (industrial or manufacturing environment preferred).
- Trade school certificate or associate degree in industrial maintenance is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and facility issues.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, basic plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Ability to read work orders, manuals, and basic schematics.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., working at heights, and performing hands‑on repairs both indoors and outdoors.
- Clear, professional communication skills for working with supervisors, team members, and vendors.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with machine maintenance (chains, belts, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics).
- Ability to safely operate ladders, lifts, and small forklifts.
- Familiarity with building automation or fire suppression systems.
- Use of diagnostic tools (multimeters, gauges, infrared thermometers).
Additional Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
- Must successfully complete background checks, including U.S. Export Control (ITAR) clearance.
