Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver for our Spokane, WA location. This is an immediate opening. We are looking for a dedicated, safety‑focused driver to join our team.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards while driving and when handling freight.
• Maintain accurate records and logs, including mileage, fuel, and maintenance.
• Load, unload, or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass DOT physical.
• Pass Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate Class A CDL and endorsements.
• Verifiable Class A tractor‑trailer experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Competitive weekly pay, starting at $1,270 or more.
