Airport Ramp Agent; AA PT - GEG

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday A.M. shift, P.M. shift

• Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft.
• Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, and destruction.
• Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts safely.
• Operate pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
• Record and receive customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required.
• Transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and maintain related records.
• Operate and/or drive motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers; manually push and pull carts and containers when needed.
• Complete paperwork and data entry related to work assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned within skill and experience capabilities.

• Must be a local (in-state) resident.
• Valid In-State Driver's License.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• At least 18 years old.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. as per the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport security .
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items of 70 pounds or more regularly.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Work in cramped or high places.
• Carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1+ year of relevant experience.
