Dentist (Pediatric Focus)

Location:

Spring Hill, FL

• Provide comprehensive dental care to children, adolescents, and family medicine patients in accordance with best practices.
• Perform comprehensive oral examinations, including diagnosis and interpretation of radiographs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with a child-friendly, trauma-informed approach.
• Deliver clinical dental services including restorative care, extractions, sealants, fluoride treatments, nitrous oxide administration, and preventive care.
• Educate children and caregivers on oral hygiene, preventive care, nutrition, and treatment options.
• Create a positive, supportive experience for pediatric patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Follow all dental clinic policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and care team members to support efficient patient flow.
• Support community outreach, school-based programs, and pediatric oral health initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Uphold Premier’s core values and commitment to quality, compassionate care.
• Participate in Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI/QA) activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental program.
• Active Florida dental license.
• Experience providing dental care to pediatric patients strongly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• DEA license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification and annual compliance requirements.

• Ability to lift 20 lbs. regularly and 30–50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Direct exposure to computer screens and clinical environments.
• Possible exposure to contagious or infectious diseases.
