THIS IS AN IN CLINIC (ONSITE) POSITION. Candidates will be required to participate in an onsite skills assessment. Compensation commensurate with skills.

• Collecting and recording patient medical history.
• Instructing patients on post‑operative care, medication use, contact lens care, and exam expectations.
• Performing visual acuity testing, auto‑ and manifest refractions (glasses prescription), and Goldmann tonometry.
• Measuring pupil size and reactivity using PERRLA.
• Testing eye muscle function and performing confrontational visual field testing.
• Performing pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement) and dry‑eye testing (Zone Quick, TBUT, interferometry, brightness acuity testing).
• Participating in light cleaning and maintaining a sanitized environment.
• Performing corneal topography, retinal nerve fiber layer measurements, retinal thickness and topography, fluorescein angiography, B‑scan ultrasonography.
• Assisting with contact lens fitting, patient consent, and minor procedures such as laser treatment.

• Minimum of one year in ophthalmology.
• Certification preferred; JCAHO certification preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
• Required ability to perform manifest refraction and Goldmann tonometry.
• Effective multitasking, attention to detail and accuracy.

Location:
