RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the Vice President, Radiation Services Manager, Dosimetrist, Physicist and/or the Radiation Oncologist the Radiation Therapist Lead is responsible for the coordination of care as it relates to radiation oncology.

Responsible for the daily operations of the technical operations.

This includes daily treatments on the linear accelerators, special procedures and simulations.

Responsible to know, understand and uphold the SOP’s.Orient and train staff on SOP’s and new procedures.

Assure safe staffing levels on linear accelerators.

QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree is required.

Must have ARRT (T) certification.

A valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT, RTT) license in state of employment.

Associate’s degree is required.

Five (5) years of previous clinical radiation therapy experience required.

Management/Leadership experience is needed.

BLS required (AHA preferred)
